Curriculum

PORPOISE Robotics has created a multi-semester curriculum that can be utilized as either a daily robotics class, or an after-school club. The PORPOISE curriculum teaches mechatronics (electro-mechanical devices controlled by computers) by utilizing hands-on learning skills. Students build the Land Shark ground vehicle, apply the Arduino microprocessor, design electronic circuits to engage the motors and sensors, and write the C++ code to bring their creations to autonomous life.

Students learn industry standard Systems Engineering.  They design and fabricate ground, surface, and underwater vehicles. There is room within the curriculum for schools to insert their preferred oceanography lessons, or utilize PORPOISE created curriculum that invites students to partake in the integration of robotics and maritime research and exploration.
